As a Uniform and Scholastic Sales Account Representative, you will be visiting schools and working with administrators, parents, and students in a specific geographic territory. We focus on bringing top-quality products and excellent service to our customers.

Expectations of the role:
Prospecting and growing market share in your territory.
Daily travel to schools, both customers and prospects.
Acquiring technical skills and gaining program/product knowledge.
Representing the company, executing sales presentations, and driving consumer engagement.
Customer satisfaction, account retention, and managing existing accounts at various stages of production consistent with the deadline schedule.
Discover customer needs for scholastic products and opportunities for additional account servicing.
Occasional travel to visit school contacts in person for specific assistance and to build relationships.

Requirements
What we are looking for:
As a Scholastic Sales Account Representative, you must combine historical knowledge with a competitive spirit and a positive and influential personality that enjoys working in all types of schools, both public and private, primarily engaging with high school administrations, parents, and students. Strong candidates should have industry knowledge in the uniform category and can demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to this sales opportunity. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with unique problem-solving skills and acute sales acumen. In addition, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly and credibility with a wide range of potential customers.

Specific qualifications for the role include:
3-7 years of scholastic industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to sell to new and prospective customers.
Excellent computer literacy skills, specifically in the Microsoft suite.
Willingness to travel and work independently, a self-starter.
Prior sales and service experience a plus.
