As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a key role in driving project performance by developing and managing detailed schedules, identifying risks before they impact delivery, and partnering with project teams to keep execution on track.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being more than a scheduler — someone who wants to be a trusted advisor to project leadership and have a direct impact on how major projects are planned, executed, and delivered.

  • Monitoring progress, analyzing schedule performance, and identifying potential delays or constraints.
  • Working with project leadership to develop recovery plans and corrective actions when required.
  • Preparing schedule updates, progress reports, dashboards, and schedule narratives for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Supporting project controls activities including earned value reporting, manpower forecasting, resource planning, and cash flow analysis.
  • Conducting schedule risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
  • Tracking changes, maintaining accurate schedule records, and ensuring effective communication of schedule updates.
  • Supporting resource planning by analyzing labour, equipment, and material requirements to meet key milestones.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 7+ years of scheduling experience within a general contracting or construction environment.
  • Experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, transit, rail, or other complex construction projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience with project forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and schedule analysis.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery processes, and field operations.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY:

  • Work on large-scale infrastructure projects where schedule performance directly impacts project success.
  • Partner with experienced project leaders, field teams, and stakeholders to influence project outcomes.
  • Take ownership of complex project schedules from planning through execution..
  • Gain exposure to challenging projects that will continue to expand your experience and strengthen your career profile.
