Job description

Job Title:          Schedule Planner

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration:          1 Year

Location:          Waterloo, IA 50704

Shift:                1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, possible overtime)

Role Summary

Plans and schedules simple manufacturing processes for production and service parts. Supports material planning and production execution in alignment with the Deere Production System. Role includes both administrative work and shop-floor coordination (50% floor time).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule production and service parts
  • Schedule material requirements including kanbans and triggers
  • Expedite production and purchased parts
  • Coordinate parts with internal departments
  • Support implementation of engineering and material changes
  • Assist production with manpower planning
  • Support inventory accuracy, scrap reporting, and general admin tasks

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-year degree in a business-related field (preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel
  • Open to recent graduates; preference for 3–5 years post-graduation experience
