Uniti Med is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Dunbar, West Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Day Shift

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • No self-scheduling or block scheduling

Call

  • One weekday of call each week
  • Every 4th weekend:
    • Friday: 4:30 PM–7:00 AM
    • Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour call
  • No holiday call at this time

Requirements

  • Active BLS
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • Active West Virginia license
  • Nuclear Medicine experience
  • Must know how to start IVs
  • Must know how to perform EKGs
  • Copy of an unexpired driver’s license must be included with submission
  • Traveler’s agency must provide a radiation badge

Job Duties

You will perform:

  • Cardiac scans
  • HIDA scans
  • Gastric-emptying studies
  • Lung scans
  • Thyroid-uptake studies
  • Tilt studies

The department performs about 12–15 studies each day.

  • 2 Siemens E-Cam scanners
  • 2 Philips BrightView scanners
  • Meditech Expanse charting
  • AGFA IMPAX imaging system
  • Radiologist is available in-house
  • Lead technologist works in the department
  • No floating to other departments
  • Department orientation is provided
