CT Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
  • Follow prescribed imaging protocols and patient safety guidelines.
  • Position patients appropriately to ensure accurate imaging results.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients and ensure their comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostics and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
  • Document all patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology, with CT certification preferred.
  • years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS is a plus.
