Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring ARRT certification and 1+ year of teaching hospital experience.

Details
  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a teaching hospital
  • Unit focuses on liver center procedures, Y90, MAAS, AVS, DEBS, PTC, and drain placements
  • Utilizes Siemens equipment, PACS, and C-arm technology
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call required one day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Teaching hospital experience required; community hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with PACS, C-arm, and contrast administration preferred
  • Skills in venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, TIPS, and related IR procedures preferred
  • Nursing candidates must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • 2 supervisor references required
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including liver, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary studies
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval
  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
  • Local candidates residing in Indiana are considered local and may be eligible for the in-state rate
  • Former IU Health perm or PRN employees must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler
