Company Summary: Founded in 1946, Jones Bros is one of Tennessee's leading highway and heavy civil contractors. We produce construction materials, including limestone aggregates and hot-mix asphalt, and self-perform civil scopes such as grading, underground utilities, bridges and structures, concrete paving, asphalt paving, and milling.

Description: Jones Bros is seeking a Full-Time Scale Clerk for our Aggregates Division in Alexandria, TN. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for operating the truck scale system, taking customer orders, dispatching trucks, and performing general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

· Operate truck scales for the dispatch and delivery of products and materials.

· Answer customer calls and assist with customer service needs.

· Take customer orders and coordinate truck dispatching.

· Assist with processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems, including payables, payroll, and related documentation.

· Support sales staff with customer service responsibilities.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Entry-level position.

· High school diploma required.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

· Excellent customer service skills.
