This position features competitive pay, starting at $ 25 up to $30 per hour according to the applicant's experience.

Job Description:

As the Scaffold Foreman, you will supervise and assist a crew through each scaffold's erection or dismantling process. Many essential tasks and responsibilities come with this position. That's why we have an incredible staff already established to help you transition into this role at Associated Scaffolding.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and assist an erection crew with installing and dismantling supported scaffolds in a safe and orderly manner, per OSHA and company standards.
  2. Essential functions as the "Competent Scaffold Erector" on the job site include:
    • Designs and inspects the fall protection systems for the scaffold erectors and ensures that they comply with OSHA regulations.
    • Carries out safety planning/job hazard analysis, daily inspection of scaffolds, and maintenance of scaffold tagging.
    • The ability to identify hazards and know how to resolve them.
  3. Loading and unloading equipment to and from job sites onto trucks.
  4. Planning workflow on the job and assigning tasks to personnel according to their skill level.
  5. Document hours worked on inventory control and change orders.
  6. Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in the construction of the scaffolding.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language.
  • Have proof of Competent Person Training for the construction and use of supported scaffolds and fall protection systems.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the OSHA 10 or the OSHA 30-hour courses for construction.
  • Must possess a valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • This includes no DUI or careless/reckless in the past 5 years.

Knowledge & Skills Needed:

  • Show diligent attention to safety.
  • Physically able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Able to climb and work more than 50 feet above ground level.
  • Manage time efficiently and productively.
  • Possess supervisory and organizational skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a desire to grow within the company.

Working Conditions:

  • The employee will spend long periods out in the elements, whether hot or cold.
  • The employee will spend periods in the air 50 feet or higher.
