SBO Cash Analyst 

Location: Ellis Preserve (Newtown Square, PA) 

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Schedule 

Compensation Range: $55,182.40 - $85,508.80

This position serves as a key liaison between patients, revenue cycle operations, cash management, and system leadership by providing accurate self-pay estimates, overseeing cash reconciliation processes, managing client billing activities, and identifying opportunities for workflow improvement. Through data analysis, reporting, EPIC optimization, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, the SBO Analyst helps strengthen revenue cycle performance, enhance financial transparency, and support informed decision-making. The insights and innovations generated in this role directly contribute to improved patient satisfaction, stronger financial controls, and the continued success of Main Line Health's revenue operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver accurate, transparent financial estimates that help patients understand their anticipated healthcare costs and available payment options before receiving care.
  • Analyze and improve Single Billing Office (SBO) workflows related to patient estimates, cash posting, reconciliation, client billing, and revenue cycle operations to drive efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Oversee cash management and reconciliation activities, ensuring organizational payments are accurately deposited, posted, balanced, and reported within EPIC and related financial systems. 
  • Leverage data, reporting, and operational trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and enhanced financial performance across the revenue cycle.
  • Partner with patients, practice leaders, finance teams, and operational stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, support audits, optimize workflows, and strengthen overall patient financial experience. 
  • Support EPIC enhancements, system testing, reporting initiatives, and operational projects that improve communication, compliance, cash management, and billing effectiveness. 
  • Manage client billing processes, accounts receivable activities, invoicing, and payment follow-up to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances and accurate reimbursement.
  • Provide actionable insights, KPI Reporting, and trend analysis that support departmental decision making and continuous improvement efforts. 

What You Bring:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree - with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or Management preferred
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of healthcare billing experience and or accounts receivable experience
  • Experience with data analytic tools required, with a strong preference creating and presenting dashboard modules 
  • Intermediate working experience within Excel 

Preferred: 

  • Working experience utilizing automated patient accounting systems (EPIC Resolute desired)
  • Excellent ability to communicate and identify trends and present to leadership for education, consultation, and recommendations
