About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based and hospital obstetric and gynecologic coverage through day shift and 24-hour pager call assignments at an on-site facility in Charlottesville, Virginia, on sporadic dates from October through December. Hospital coverage runs Sunday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, while office coverage for vacation weeks includes Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for return OB patients and same-day visits only. Surgical responsibilities include C-sections performed in the L&D OR, with 1 OR room in L&D and 4 additional OR rooms available. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured as 24-hour pager call throughout each designated coverage period.
