Position Snapshot

  • Location: Must reside in Wahoo, Nebraska / Saunders County (Must own or rent your current home)
  • Supporting: You are welcoming an individual with an intellectual disability to move into your home and live with you full-time as a part of your household and family dynamic
  • Average Annual Income: Approximately $71,800 (federally tax-free) + Monthly Rent & Household Expenses Contribution

  • Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • You must be a current resident of the state of Nebraska (due to state funding restrictions).
  • Own/Rent your own home, apartment, condo, or townhouse
  • Active homeowner's or renter's insurance
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance
  • Internet access and basic computer skills
  • Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training

Experience is preferred but not required.
