Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled & Long-Term Care

Job Status Active - Currently accepting applications

Job Overview

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in Saunders Medical Center's Long-Term Care facility. The LTC CNA assists residents with daily activities, monitors their condition, and works closely with the nursing team to provide safe, quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care according to their care plans.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, meal consumption, and other required documentation.
  • Report changes in residents' conditions or abnormal vital signs to the Charge Nurse.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and alarms.
  • Assist with safe transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly resident rooms and care areas.
  • Assist with resident admissions, dismissals, meals, and other assigned unit duties.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.
QualificiationsRequired Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
