Job Summary
Mattr is seeking Production Operators to support our manufacturing facility located in Rockwall, TX. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator will be responsible for safely operating production machinery and using tools on the production floor.
*This position will require a preemployment physical fitness as well as a drug and alcohol test
Schedule:
This role requires availability to work on a rotational shift on a monthly basis. You will be assigned to a twelve (12) hour shift schedule that will alternate every 4 weeks between Day Shift and Night Shift.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Wednesday, 5:00am - 5:00 pm
  • Night Shift: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Wednesday, 5:00 pm - 5:00am

Duties & Accountabilities
  • Set up, run, and shut down manufacturing equipment. Able to understand the manufacturing production schedule
  • Monitor product quality followed with appropriate responses
  • Record manufacturing data. Use of database and reporting systems
  • Conduct all work safely while following the Mattr CS Safety program, procedures, and policies
  • Verifying raw materials prior to use and throughout the manufacturing process
  • Operate forklifts, manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Perform operator preventative maintenance
  • Supporting and mentoring other Operators
  • Understand procedures, processes, equipment and product
  • Accept guidance, leadership, and supervision to achieve company goals. Ensure that any problems encountered are reported to the Lead Operator
  • Other duties as assigned

Safety
  • Maintain a safe working environment by aligning with corporate safety rules and regulations, and ensuring a culture of safety
  • Ensure that the equipment and process operate efficiently and safely

Required Qualifications
  • 1 year previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Able to work a rotational shift as required for business purposes.
  • Available to work both weekdays/ weekends
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable working in a plant environment
  • Knowledge and prior experience of power tools
  • Able to work at heights and confined spaces when required
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 20-50 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Good work ethic and attitude with good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements (i.e. drug and alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram, and vision testing)
  • Strong safety mindset
