Position Summary:

The primary task of the "Continuing Care Coordinator" is to prepare material to send to other institutions for conferences and professional review. They will also assist with research requests, both internally and externally driven. This individual will provide excellent customer service to all CellNetix employees and clients. The ideal candidate will have superior communication and proofreading skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and triage with little to no supervision, and the ability to learn in a rapidly changing environment.  It is important that the Continuing Care Coordinator abides by HIPAA regulations.


Position Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm


Essential Duties:

  • Manage research requests, both internally and externally driven studies
  • Works with CellNetix pathologist and health care providers outside of the company to prepare and distribute material for professional review and consultation to achieve excellent patient care per industry standards
  • Perform data entry, collect/prepare/distribute pathology material, and communicate with pathologists for conferences and tumor boards in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Assist with preservation and material requests from legal firms and other entities
  • Monitor and distribute incoming correspondence and reports through fax, email, and phone calls
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication and interactions about client and pathologist questions/issues with excellent customer service skills
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail process
  • Generate invoices for technical and professional services
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • High school graduate or similar
  • 1+ year of anatomic lab experience preferred
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data entry and computer software applications
  • Previous proofreading or document quality control experience preferred 
  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
