Position Summary

The ideal candidate will excel in all aspects of project management, from planning and resource allocation to risk assessment and maintaining schedules and budgets, leveraging tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, SAP Solution Manager, and incorporating AI and ML capabilities.

Strong leadership and communication abilities are crucial for coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders, promoting collaboration, and driving successful project outcomes.   • Facilitate test planning, UAT, and defect tracking.

  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to align Ariba solutions with public sector procurement regulations and workflows.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, catalog management, and contract lifecycle processes using Ariba tools.
  • Ensure seamless data exchange between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA via SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
  • Manage SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba-specific testing, including configuration validation, UAT, and defect resolution.
  • Support change management and training initiatives for SAP end users and procurement staff.
  • Monitor compliance with public sector procurement standards through Ariba reporting and audit capabilities.
 

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) 
  • PMP certification from PMI 
  • ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance or equivalent 
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or relevant modules 
SAP Experience:
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP ERP, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and BW/4HANA.
  • Proven success managing SAP implementations in defense or public sector environments.
  • Expertise in SAP modules such as MM, WM, QM, SCM, PM, FM, EWM, SD, and FICO.
  • Experience implementing and managing SAP Ariba modules in public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba Network, Guided Buying, Supplier Risk, and Spend Analysis.
  • Experience with SAP tools including SAP Solution Manager, Activate Methodology, WRICEF objects, and BODS.
Technical Skills
  • Strong background in data migration, integration, and validation using tools like BODS, LSMW, and iDOCs.
  • Familiarity with BusinessObjects, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig).
