What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an SAP Partner, and why are they important?

To thrive as an SAP Partner, you need strong expertise in SAP solutions, business process analysis, and project management, often supported by SAP certifications and relevant industry experience. Familiarity with SAP modules (such as S/4HANA, SAP ERP), integration tools, and cloud platforms is crucial, along with maintaining current SAP certifications. NS2 COMPANY DESCRIPTION
SAP is the global market leader for business software and related services. SAP National Security Services Inc.® (SAP NS2®) is an independent U.S. subsidiary of SAP. At SAP NS2, we leverage best-in-breed technologies engineered by SAP to protect the lives, assets and information of Americans. Purpose Serve as a trusted advisor to Navy senior executives by building strategic relationships, ensuring a secure and seamless customer experience, and executing long-term strategies that deliver measurable customer value. This role operates within a CMMC-certified proxy organization model, requiring a deep understanding of compliance boundaries, secure delivery frameworks, and the nuances of supporting defense and sensitive government missions.

  • Drive expansion of SAP solution adoption in alignment with customer objectives, emphasizing secure, compliant, and scalable architectures.
  • Identify, shape, and close opportunities that deliver sustained value, supporting renewals, retention, and long-term growth.
  • Champion innovation by aligning SAP capabilities with customer value roadmaps, enabling transformation within the constraints of regulated environments.
  • Operate as the lead representative for SAP NS2 in customer engagements, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes for complex, high-risk, or high-visibility programs.
  • Operate effectively within a proxy organization construct, understanding separation of duties, data access restrictions, and secure collaboration models required for CMMC-compliant delivery.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of evolving Federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and ensure alignment with national security requirements.
  • Support and uphold secure delivery requirements consistent with controlled environments, including ITAR, FedRAMP, and other defense-related regulatory frameworks where applicable.
  • Bridge business strategy and technology execution, ensuring alignment between mission objectives and SAP-enabled capabilities.
  • Develop and apply a holistic enterprise architecture model across business, application, data, and technology domains, aligned with SAP reference architectures, government requirements and secure cloud adoption strategies.
  • Ensure architectural integrity across all domains, with accountability for cohesive, compliant, and scalable solution design.
  • Guide customers and internal/external architect teams toward defined outcomes, balancing innovation with regulatory constraints inherent in federal, CMMC and classified environments.
  • Incorporate secure-by-design principles, ensuring architectures meet compliance, auditability, and data protection requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, with awareness of Federal market dynamics, defense priorities, and emerging technology trends.
  • Apply effective negotiation and influence skills to align diverse stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A combination of equivalent work and life experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
  • 10-15+ years Navy account management and sales of SAP products and services
  • 10-15+ years understanding of national security requirements and secure proxy framework
  • Must be located within a commutable distance of Metro DC area
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active Government security clearance preferred
  • Must be able to travel as required, up to 50%
  • Note: The job description is meant to be a guideline. It is not exhaustive, and we will expect the selected candidate to show flexibility and eagerness to undertake varied tasks and projects.
