Position Summary

The Senior SAP Manager is responsible for leading, guiding, and managing a team of functional specialists and SAP Consultants to ensure the successful deployment, enhancement, and support of SAP applications within the organization.

This is a leadership position with direct management of employees. Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage a team of SAP functional specialists, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight
  • Coordinate with business units to identify SAP requirements and solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Ensure timely delivery of SAP projects within budget and scope, managing timelines, resources, and risks
  • Monitor SAP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency
  • Maintain SAP system configurations, procedures, and documentation for consistency and compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP; systems analysis; technical support; business process mapping
  • Efficient planning, organizing and execution of SAP Projects
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions
  • Clear, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Liaising with SAP partners and vendors for support and solutions
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; employee recognition and discipline; resolving employee concerns; and developing employees with the skills, competencies, and values needed to achieve Company goals.
