Your Role at Sephora:

Ready for a career glow up? As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you'll support and maintain Sephora's fixed asset accounting processes, helping ensure accuracy across capital expenditures, asset tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting. The work you do will impact beauty, as you partner cross-functionally to support financial operations that keep Sephora's business running efficiently and accurately. You'll be part of a Finance team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Sephora's CapEx fixed asset allocation process and maintain accuracy across fixed asset records and reporting
  • Assist with preparation and upload of journal entries related to fixed assets and capital expenditures
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers, project allocations, and asset location information
  • Support monthly close activities and ensure timely completion of fixed asset accounting deliverables
  • Partner with Purchasing and Business Planning & Analysis teams to support PO master data updates, approval workflows, and financial inquiries
  • Help maintain budgets and internal orders for capital expenditure requests
  • Assist in clearing aged goods receipt/invoice receipt records and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain various fixed asset trackers and support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and business partners to improve processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Leverage SAP/S4 Hana and related systems to support efficient fixed asset management and reporting

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus
  • 2+ years of fixed asset accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working with SAP/S4 Hana and/or Coupa procurement systems preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset with a customer-service approach to supporting internal partners

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,510.00 - $114,570.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
