Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Support pre-sales activities and escalated projects. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Provide support in solution testing and issue resolution. Can mentor business process consultants.   

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

  • Experience must involve four (4) years in the following: 

  • Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including SAP warehouse management solutions;  

  • Designing, implementing, and executing test plans that include unit, functional, regression, system and integration tests;  

  • Testing ERP applications, including leveraging automated test tools; and 

  • Deploying applications using SAP Solution Manager. 

  • Experience must also involve three (3) years in the following: 

  • Warehouse Business Process Analysis; 

  • Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including enterprise asset management and equipment management solutions;  

  • Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including materials management solutions; and 

  • Report build tools, including Crystal reporting, and ABAP reporting tools. 

Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to implement customer-procured solutions and perform customer-facing project tasks.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,923 - $196,010. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $135,600 - $230,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
