Job description

JOB TITLE: Sanitation

WAGE RANGE: $15.50 per hour

DEPARTMENT: Production – Main St.

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

Job summary:

Keeps production area in clean and orderly condition according to required regulations.

Job Duties:

Essential Functions -

· Completing daily list of sanitation duties.

· Ensure the general sanitary condition of the building is kept in order. This includes patrolling the building for any unsanitary conditions, i.e. puddles of water, syrup spills, and improperly stored production equipment. Use BRC Standards for Food Safety as guidelines.

· Master Sanitation. (See master sanitation schedule.)

· Adhere to all chemical safety rules and ensure proper PPE is worn at all times when using chemicals.

· Ensure all cleaning records (including the master sanitation schedule) are kept up to date and well organized.

· Must become qualified and licensed Fork Truck, JLG or other motorized vehicles used in the sanitation process.

Additional Responsibilities·

Other duties or directives which the Company, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate.

Physical Requirements:

· Able to use ladders, working on elevated platforms and working at different elevations.

· Must be able to see/differentiate all primary colors.

· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
