Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sanitation Manager to oversee all sanitation operations within our food manufacturing warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring the facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance in accordance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and company policies. The Sanitation Manager will lead sanitation team members, develop cleaning procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.


Requirements:
  • Manage and supervise daily sanitation operations throughout the facility.
  • Develop and maintain Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS).
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Train sanitation employees on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, PPE usage, and food safety practices.
  • Conduct routine inspections of production areas, equipment, drains, locker rooms, breakrooms, and warehouse areas.
  • Verify proper cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment and tools.
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation chemicals, supplies, and inventory levels.
  • Investigate sanitation or food safety issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain sanitation records, logs, and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance departments.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and company policies.
  • Assist during third-party, customer, USDA, or FDA audits.
