Arepet Industries, LLC has an immediate opening for a Loader / Equipment Operator at our Von Ormy plant
Title: Loader / Equipment Operator
Location: Von Ormy, TX Status: FT, Hourly, Non-exempt
Department: Plant Reports to: Foreman & Plant Manager
Position Summary
Arepet Industries is hiring an experienced Loader Operator to support frac sand mining operations. This is a safety-sensitive position regulated by the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
You will operate heavy equipment to load trucks, maintain production flow, and support plant operations in a high-paced industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate front-end loader to load frac sand by weight and product type
  • Coordinate with scale house to ensure accurate truck loading
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (greasing, fueling, filters)
  • Maintain hopper and loading areas (clear sand buildup, ensure smooth operations)
  • Support plant operations and housekeeping as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards immediately
  • Attend safety meetings and meetings of priority as required by Foreman, Safety Manager, and Plant Manager.
  • May perform additional assignments as necessary.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years heavy equipment experience (loader preferred)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, dust, and industrial conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment/ladders
  • Strong safety awareness and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mining, aggregates, or construction
  • MSHA training (Part 46 or 48) or ability to obtain
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance
