We are seeking dependable, hardworking Heavy Equipment Operators (HEO) to join our frac sand operations team in Kermit, Texas. We are currently hiring for positions in both our Dry Plant and Loadout departments.


These are physically demanding positions in a fast-paced industrial environment. The work is performed outdoors in the Permian Basin desert and requires individuals who are comfortable working long hours in heat, dust, wind, and changing weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and production.

Candidates with backgrounds in frac sand, mining, construction, agriculture, ranching, oilfield, trucking, heavy labor, or other outdoor industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating loaders, skid steers, offroad forklifts, and other heavy equipment used in sand processing operations
  • Feeding the dry plant and maintaining material flow through dryers, screens, and conveyors
  • Monitoring plant conditions and supporting production operations
  • Assisting maintenance personnel with inspections and minor repairs
  • Performing housekeeping and maintaining safe working conditions throughout the plant
  • Working in elevated temperatures, dusty conditions, and physically demanding environments
  • Safely operate heavy equipment within site and manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks
  • Report mechanical issues and safety concerns promptly
  • Follow all MSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Complete required shift reports and operational paperwork
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Support plant housekeeping and operational reliability efforts
Requirements:
  • Previous frac sand plant, mining, aggregate, agricultural/ranching experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience (loaders, skid steers, etc.)
  • Experience  operating heavy equipment in high-volume production environments, loading hoppers, bins, crushers, or similar feed systems.
  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in close quarters around conveyors, structures, trucks and other machinery.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and knowledge to assist with basic equipment maintenance
  • Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather and industrial conditions
  • Ability to work a 12 hour shift, on a 14 days on and 7 days off rotating schedule including days and nights
  • MSHA training or willingness to obtain certification
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment
