Position Summary

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations within CMP, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of logic chips. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

As a CMP Equipment Technician, you'll be responsible to:

Perform Preventative Maintenance in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Troubleshoot tool alarms to root cause and work with team member to develop recovery plans.
Work with the Process Technician team to maximize tool uptime.
Work with Engineering to develop and execute Pre Task Plans to recover tool abnormalities.
Work with Engineering to identify and implement improvement projects that positively impact department metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2+ years work experience
  • 2 year college degree or technical degree (Associates degree or equivalent related Military experience).
  • 5-10 years of related experience.
  • CMP Semiconductor or high volume manufacturing experience preferred.
The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. Night Shifts Include:B Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating SaturdaysD Shift - Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays
