Role summary
Seeking a senior ITAM/SAM specialist to own the end-to-end software asset lifecycle - procurement, deployment, license reconciliation, true-up, audit defense, and retirement - across a complex, multi-vendor enterprise. The role operationalizes software optimization, entitlement management, and vendor governance, and bridges IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security. Heavy emphasis on ServiceNow SAM Pro administration and enterprise licensing across major publishers.
Core responsibilities
Administer and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro (workflows, Flow Designer, software normalization, reclamation, executive dashboards)
Manage software license compliance, entitlement management, and vendor renewals/governance
Lead license true-ups and audit defense across Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle, VMware, SAP, and SaaS portfolios
Perform IBM Passport Advantage entitlement imports and reconciliation
Integrate SCCM/MECM for software discovery and metering; configure FlexeraOne beacons and reconciliation
Maintain ITAM/CMDB data integrity; support HAM (hardware asset) processes where needed
Drive cost savings and avoidance through optimization and normalization
Required skills / tools

SCCM/MECM integration
