JOB SUMMARY:
Join DHL eCommerce as a Salesforce Senior Developer and drive our digital transformation. You will work closely with multiple business functions to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that align with our agile approach and strategic goals. Partnering closely with local and global IT, you will ensure all solutions strictly adhere to architectural guidelines, security and quality standards. A key focus for this role is empowering the business to leverage Salesforce Agent force and cutting-edge agentic AI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate specific use cases and provide potential solutions while helping business understand pros and cons of each solution.
  • Develop custom flows, approval processes, and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Design and maintain automation solutions using Apex triggers, and asynchronous processing patterns.
  • Assess existing Salesforce instances and identify gaps, technical debt, and enhancements.
  • Work closely with data science team to configure dashboards and specific reports.
  • Own end-to-end solution design and development ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop and support Salesforce Service Cloud solutions supporting various departments.
  • Support with configuration of Omni-Channel routing, SLA/Milestones, Email-to-Case process, queues, and case automation processes.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to support data exchange between Salesforce, enterprise systems, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Analyze and resolve complex production support issues across integrated Salesforce environments.
  • Support environment maintenance activities, deployment coordination, and release validation.
  • Work alongside DevOps team to introduce enhancements to the deployment process.
  • Ensure proper monitoring, logging, and error handling for integrations and automated processes.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for system stability and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with global and regional business teams to support evolving operational and customer experience initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-driven business capabilities using Agentforce, Einstein AI, and automation tools.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8yrs Software development experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification required.
  • Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist.
  • Salesforce Certified AI Specialist.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura, and Lightning web components.
  • Proficient with object configuration, flows, validation rules, and app builder.
  • Experience with SQL, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL.
  • Experience with Sales, Service, and Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Gearset.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud a plus.
  • Experience with REST API integrations.
  • Experience designing Agentic AI-integrated SDLC workflows.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and agile frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
  • Experience using SAP, Salesforce or equivalent ERP/CRM applications.
