About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer for a contract opportunity supporting a fast-paced digital marketing team. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role responsible for building, testing, and deploying high-volume email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Email Development & Production
  • Develop and code responsive HTML/CSS email templates for promotional, transactional, triggered, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Translate Figma and other design files into production-ready email code.
  • Build and maintain reusable, modular email components to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Utilize AMPscript to support dynamic content, personalization, and conditional logic.
Quality Assurance & Testing
  • Perform end-to-end QA on email builds across major email clients and devices.
  • Test campaigns using Litmus and troubleshoot rendering issues independently.
  • Ensure all email communications meet accessibility, deliverability, and performance best practices.
  • Validate functionality, responsiveness, and content accuracy before deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with campaign strategists, project managers, and deployment teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Support rapid-turnaround requests and production updates while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Deliver organized, documented builds ready for deployment within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience.
  • Advanced HTML/CSS development skills specific to email marketing.
  • Strong expertise with AMPscript and dynamic content personalization.
  • Experience developing complex responsive email designs, including:
    • Background images
    • Mobile-first layouts
    • Responsive breakpoints
    • Conditional content
  • Experience working within established design systems and code libraries.
  • Strong understanding of email client rendering challenges, including Outlook compatibility.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong QA skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Litmus testing.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable navigating evolving priorities and tight deadlines.
