What to Expect

The Sr. Salesforce Architect leads the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the broader Salesforce Platform. This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to define scalable architectures, integration patterns, data models, and governance that enable secure, compliant, and high-performing implementations. In addition, this role sets technical standards, mentors delivery teams, and ensures solution quality from strategy through production support. This role will partner closely with product owners, engineering teams, integration architects, and vendors, and will play a key role in Architecture Review Boards (ARB), platform governance, and Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives.

What You Will Do

1.     Platform Governance

         Enforce Salesforce development, configuration, and deployment standards across multiple orgs.

         Ensure platform reliability, observability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.

         Contribute to and maintain Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices documentation.

         Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and ensure compliance with IT strategy, security, and cloud governance guidelines.

2.     Architecture & Solution Design

         Own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across Auto Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and industry solutions

         Define reference architectures, integration patterns, data models, and security designs aligned with enterprise standards.

         Lead architecture assessments and design reviews for new initiatives, enhancements, and platform modernization efforts.

         Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance and maintainability.

         Provide technical leadership when working with system integrators and vendors, ensuring quality and architectural alignment.

3.     Integration, Data & Release Management

         Design and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and batch frameworks.

         Ensure secure data exchange, encryption, authentication (OAuth 2.0, MFA), and compliance with enterprise data protection standards.

         Govern CI/CD strategies using tools such as Git, Copado or equivalent.

         Support multiorg release planning, environment strategy, and deployment governance.

         Collaborate with release engineers to improve deployment reliability, quality, and velocity.

4.     Continuous Improvement

         Contribute to Salesforce roadmap decisions and evaluate new Salesforce features and releases.

         Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and third-party products; build business cases and recommend adoption when beneficial.

What You Will Bring

         Minimum 8 years of progressive experience delivering Salesforce solutions, direct experience in an architecture/technical lead capacity as a Salesforce  Solution Architect or Technical Architect for large-scale, enterprise implementations.

         Experience operating within a Salesforce CoE or Factory model is a plus.

         Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Technology or related discipline.

         Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect) preferred.

         Strong ability to analyze system requirements and design effective data solutions.

         Deep expertise in:

o    Salesforce Lightning Platform (LWC, Apex, Flows)

o    Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud

o    Data modeling, security model, and sharing architecture

         Hands-on experience with enterprise platform integrations and complex data flows.

         Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and multiorg Salesforce environments.

         Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to the organization (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR) and how they impact  Salesforce design.

         Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

         Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

         Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

         Excellent interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with cross functional departments.

         Strong orientation toward results coupled with reputation for integrity, creativity and good judgment.

         Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices.

         Strong background in Agile delivery and enterprise governance.

Work Environment
