Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Wichita, KS that is seeking a Salesforce Engineer.
What You Will Do:
* Assist in all stages of the application lifecycle (design, development, testing, release, and support) for Salesforce customizations, applications, and integrations, utilizing both the declarative and programmatic tools offered by the Salesforce Platform
* Develop code that is well-documented, easily maintainable, and prioritizes quality, security, and long-term value creation, while following Salesforce and KAES development best practices and architecture guidelines
* Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify and capture functional and non-functional requirements, then convert them into viable technical solutions
* Maintain strong working knowledge of the latest Salesforce features, releases and development practices
* Participate in agile development processes along with design and code reviews with other software engineers
Contract Duration:
* Initial contract: 6-12 months
* Core implementation is expected to run for 12 months
Final 6 months will focus on:
* Testing/trials
* Enhancements
* Ensuring nothing was missed in implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in either MIS, CIS, CS, or similar degree
* Experience Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certified
* 5+ years of professional experience writing and deploying code to the Salesforce Platform
* Active Trailblazer showing continued education of the Salesforce platform
* Experience with Community (Experience) Cloud
* Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Gearset, etc.
* Knowledge with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3
* Experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment
* Experience with event-driven integrations using Salesforce Platform Events
* Experience working with Salesforce security features and configurations
* Experience in declarative customizations: design of the SFDC data model, Lightning UI, business logic, security settings, reports, and dashboards
* Experience with Salesforce APIs - REST API, SOAP API, Bulk API
* Experience using Git or other modern source code version control systems
* Preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone
Within their IT stack:
* Node.js

* AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS)
* Event-driven architectures
AWS Requirement:
* AWS certifications are a strong nice-to-have/bonus
* AWS experience is a must-have (non-negotiable)
* Candidates must have hands-on AWS cloud experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
