Job Description

The Salesforce Data 360 Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and activating scalable, data-driven audience segments using Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud). This role bridges marketing strategy, customer data architecture, and campaign execution to enable personalized, compliant, and real-time customer experiences across digital and owned channels. This role focuses on building and enabling identity resolution, data modeling, and activation capabilities within Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360). The Ideal candidate will have direct experience in Salesforce Data 360 and be able to articulate and demonstrate real-world implementations from data ingestion through activation.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain audience segments within Salesforce Data 360 for marketing, personalization, and activation use cases.
  • Configure and manage unified customer profiles, identity resolution rules, and Data Model Objects (DMOs).
  • Develop and maintain Data Model Objects (DMOs), Calculated Insights, engagement metrics, and derived attributes to support advanced segmentation strategies.
  • Activate Data 360 audiences into Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, and external destinations.
  • Validate segment readiness and ensure accurate, reliable downstream campaign and journey execution.
  • Partner with Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable segmentation solutions.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, segmentation accuracy, and identity resolution outcomes.
  • Leverage cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP, including zero-copy data sharing where applicable.
  • Ensure privacy, consent, and data governance standards are upheld across all segmentation and activation workflows.
  • Support testing, measurement, and optimization of segment performance and customer engagement outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Data 360 and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, audience segmentation, identity resolution, and customer data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud concepts: Unified Profiles, DMOs, and activation workflows.
  • Experience building Calculated Insights, aggregations, and behavioral metrics.
  • Solid understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), master data management concepts and omnichannel marketing principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to data validation, quality, and reliability.
  • Experience with Salesforce SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant and/or Marketing Cloud certifications.
  • Experience implementing end-to-end Data Cloud solutions (ingestion, resolution, activation)
  • Ability to explain how unified customer profiles are created and leveraged.
  • Knowledge of integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Databricks or other enterprise data platforms.
  • Exposure to Loyalty, Personalization, or real-time marketing use cases.
  • Familiarity with consent management, privacy frameworks, and customer identity best practices.
