Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solution, considering the focus on Salesforce CPQ, Sales, Service, and B2B2C Commerce
  • Should be able to take ownership of the whole Salesforce org when making design decisions for the new features and guide the discussion with various stakeholders with subject matter expertise in Salesforce platform overall
  • Ability to propose best possible solution to achieve the business requirements and objectives using all the available Salesforce platform tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work with business stakeholders independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with being a team player is a must
  • Should be a functional architect first with technical know-how (not hands-on technical developer or architect experience is required)
  • Able to work with global teams onshore/ offshore to delegate and guide the team members through roadblocks
  • Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies in the domain
What you bring to be successful
  • Post-secondary education in a business or technology-related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with at least 4 years in an Architect role.
  • Broad experience across multiple Salesforce products (e.g. Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience) with depth of expertise in specific clouds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences, including both business and technical
  • Experience working in teams, a desire to collaborate with others, and a willingness to ask for help if needed
  • Ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous; experience managing challenging interactions with customers or other stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of business needs and industry-specific priorities or use cases
  • Awareness of application lifecycle management and DevOps including industry standard tooling
  • Awareness of quality assurance and industry standard tooling
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA) is a plus.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with project teams members in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and budgets
  • A passion for technology and continuous growth
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or any other consulting family of Certifications) are highly desirable. An architect certificate (or working towards it) is a plus
  • Conga Composer/Trigger implementation is a plus
