We have an opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will support Pentair's Flow Business Segment and its recently launched Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud platform. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the successful adoption, optimization, and expansion of Salesforce capabilities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, and Channel Partner operations. You will partner closely with business leaders, process owners, product owners, developers, administrators, and implementation partners to define business strategies, develop solution roadmaps, improve processes, and maximize business value from Pentair's Salesforce investment.

You will:

  • Serve as the trusted advisor and primary technology partner for Flow business stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, and business leadership teams.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions to identify business opportunities and technology improvements.
  • Translate business objectives into Salesforce roadmaps, initiatives, and actionable requirements.
  • Drive alignment between business priorities and Salesforce Center of Excellence governance processes.
  • Support and continuously improve Pentair's Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud implementation.
  • Analyze business processes related to account management, opportunity management, forecasting, customer planning, sales agreements, and revenue performance.
  • Partner with business leaders to maximize adoption of Manufacturing Cloud capabilities and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage standard Salesforce functionality before pursuing custom solutions.
  • Support ongoing platform enhancements, releases, and business readiness activities.
  • Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Create business process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process documentation.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, administrators, and integration teams to design scalable solutions.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and Salesforce best practices.
  • Partner with commercial teams to improve lead management, opportunity management, account planning, forecasting, customer engagement, service operations, and field technician experiences.
  • Support integration of sales and marketing processes to improve pipeline visibility and customer lifecycle management.
  • Work with service teams to optimize case management, customer support, and field service operations.
  • Define KPIs, reporting requirements, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision making.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activities.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation activities.
  • Develop training materials and support user adoption initiatives.
  • Drive stakeholder communications and organizational change management efforts.
  • Measure solution effectiveness and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Business Analyst, CRM Analyst, Product Owner, or related experience supporting enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
  • Experience supporting one or more Salesforce Clouds, including:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Marketing Cloud or marketing automation platforms
    • Service Cloud
    • Field Service
    • Manufacturing Cloud
  • Proven experience leading to requirements gathering and business process analysis efforts.
  • Strong understanding of commercial business processes including lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-order, customer service, field operations, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery environments.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Manufacturing Cloud implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales organizations.
  • Knowledge of ERP, CPQ, customer master data, and integration concepts.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and Agile methodologies.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
