Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eagerSr Salesforce Developer. The Sr. Salesforce Developer will evaluate, develop, modify, code, and test Salesforce to support internal Daikin Applied programming needs as well as provide support to applications users throughout Daikin Applied. Under intermittent supervision you will analyze, test, and debug applications as well as document, evaluate and make modifications to existing programs or formulate logic for new programs. The Sr Salesforce Developer will oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. You'll work with the Solution Architect, Partners, and other Software Engineers to translate requirements into functional applications. You'll also work with the team, coaching, mentoring on technical ground, driving best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. What you will do:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable Salesforce B2B Commerce storefronts, including catalog structure, pricing, promotions, cart/checkout flows, and buyer account management
  • Build and customize Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and leverage integration services/APIs to connect with other external systems
  • Work with various internal Development team to integrate solution components in Salesforce and understand technical dependencies and implications
  • Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, debug complex issues, and maintain software quality standards
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather and clarify eCommerce requirements
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and Agile team ceremonies - providing input on architecture and technical feasibility
  • Provide support to product development regarding escalation, estimation, prioritization, and help manage the backlog
  • Provide advice, mentorship, and assistance to junior engineers to develop staff capabilities
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing Salesforce application
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts
  • Maintains expertise in installation, design, configuration or specialized testing for supported applications
  • Applies knowledge of the users' operations, integration into IT standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications' use
  • Leads Salesforce improvements. Assists with the development of IT standards and processes
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including API specs, data models, workflows, and architecture diagrams
  • Ensure all development complies with Salesforce security, governance rules, and any relevant industry or company standards
  • Maintains certification or shows in depth knowledge of industry standard toolsets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience with developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform, including using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, LWR, HTML/CSS, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers, API Integrations, Batch Apex, Workflows, Process Builder, and Lightning Flows
  • Experienced using Gearset with Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
  • Working knowledge on B2B eCommerce and other external community sites
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform including its core features, capabilities, and limitations
  • Knowledgeable with Salesforce's various cloud offerings such as Sales, Service (Order Management), and Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with understanding and assessing proposed solutions to meet requirements
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
  • 6 years of Salesforce development experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $153,000 (+ 10% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
