$100,800.00 - $165,600.00

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our global commercial effectiveness team to inspire excellence across our commercial teams.

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for creating and implementing training, onboarding, and continuous learning processes that will enhance the skills and knowledge of our customer-facing teams. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and delivering effective sales training programs and be able to critically evaluate areas where additional training opportunities exist and prioritize them. The Sales Trainer will work closely with the sales leadership team to ensure that the training process aligns with our overall commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop and implement training processes for the sales team including onboarding, ongoing training, and coaching aids.
  • Develop and maintain training materials such as manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions, product trainings, and advanced sales skills workshops - virtually and in person.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align training programs with sales goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Enable ongoing support and coaching to sales representatives to help them achieve their sales targets, assist managers with training aspects of employees' development plans.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the sales methodology, sales performance management and coaching.
  • Work with other functions, to ensure that training aligns to the requirements of the sales teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training programs and projects simultaneously. The Sales Trainer should be able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain detailed records of training activities and outcomes.
  • Stay up to date on company, market, technology and customer trends and shifts, and incorporate into training systems with the goal of maintaining competitive edge.
  • Apply forward-thinking strategies and creative problem-solving to anticipate training needs, address sales challenges proactively, and continuously improve learning experiences.
  • Embed and promote the EPIC values in all areas of work, maintaining the company's culture, ethics, and people engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related scientific field or business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales.
  • Proven experience in sales training, learning & development or sales enablement.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, sales process, and sales enablement tools.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) platforms and authoring tools.
  • Dynamic facilitator with strong communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Exhibits strong ownership and initiative, consistently staying ahead of priorities, identifying potential obstacles, and taking action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Travel required. 25%
