As a Trade Marketing Representative you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our retail sales initiatives within your geographic territory. Your main mission will be to execute comprehensive sales and merchandising programs tailored to individual retail accounts, leveraging expert knowledge and sound judgement to increase sales effectively. You will have personal accountability for achieving sales results in your assigned territory, representing a vital liaison between the company and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution Planning:ย You will determine visit frequency based on the company's customer prioritization system, plan calls using detailed sales data, and schedule appointments with customers to maximize impact during visits.
  • Strategic Insights & Business Advice:ย Your role includes analysing sales and program performance to inform future planning, monitoring competitor and retailer activities within your territory, and educating retail partners on optimal category management based on data and insights.
  • Negotiation & Selling Process:ย Apply an advanced, consultative selling approach to negotiate sell-out volume agreements, ensure product placement aligns with agreed planograms, maintain compliance with contractual standards, and effectively address objections. Commitments will be secured by aligning the benefits of our products with the customers' needs.
  • Logistics Management:ย You will manage merchandising activities, ensuring product availability and stock levels through top-up orders on behalf of retailers when required, and educating store staff on the importance of maintaining optimal stock.

Qualifications & Experience

  • College Graduates are welcome.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required, with further education or experience in FMCG sales (preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills, with practical and confident use of Microsoft Office suite applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate sales data into actionable business strategies and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across multiple stakeholder groups, including retailers and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated selling capabilities using a customer-oriented "Double Win" approach, focusing on mutual benefit and long-term relationship-building.
