For over 90 years, Hohmann & Barnard, Inc., has pioneered innovative solutions for the masonry industry. As a global leader in manufacturing construction materials for the building envelope, we offer anchors and reinforcement, moisture protection, thermal performance, wall estimating software, and air barrier systems for commercial and residential masonry markets.

This role will represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our product offering. You will maximize the sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight to the needs of the customer. You will work directly with Sales and Sales leadership to maintain and grow the business within a specific territory(ies). Generate leads and commit to customer service with key accounts. You will perform incisive market and competitive research to help aid Sales in adjusting our sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

Meet weekly, monthly and annually to coordinate sales efforts between the Sales Support Team and outside sales.

This role will also lead the outbound call and account coverage for a specified area of the US. This is a market area that will be managed by an Inside Sales asset and the Sales Support Manager.

The ideal candidate should reside near the Fort Worth, TX; Trussville, AL; or Chester Springs, PA area but may work remotely in the U.S.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Define, create and maintain a Customer Service team to support customer needs
  • Support, create and maintain internal sales processes to support appropriate customer needs from order to shipment. Including but not limited to standardized quote process, order acknowledgement/confirmation and order status.
  • Work with outside sales, Technical & Architectural services and inside sales teams to support achievement of annual budget.
  • Define, create and maintain a trained Inside Sales team to sell to a defined customer segment. Collaborate with outside sales team, Director of Sales, Regional Sales Managers to create and maintain an Inside Sales strategy to support annual budget.
  • Generate and standardized kpi's and report on sales budget achievement
  • Build a culture of motivated, customer centricity within teams, with an added focus on continuous improvement. Ability to create and perform to various KPI's.
  • Manage and lead Outbound Call Specialist. Create KPI's for this role that lead to delivery of the annual budget.
  • Continually assess talent and manage performance of team(s).
  • Travel 10% - 30%
  • Perform additional projects, duties or assignments as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 4-year business degree and 5 years relevant experience in managing a customer service/inside sales team. 10+ years of sales and leadership experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing, directing and motivating a team.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Efficient with strong organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of product (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.) as well as possess the ability to be trained in company specific software
  • Various business systems experience required (ERP, CRM)
  • Ability to travel 10-30% to visit facilities, customers and suppliers.
  • Valid Driver's License
