Business Operations - Business Management
The Americas Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement (SSOE) team is building the future of sales as the #1 cloud company. Our team is responsible for supporting the rapidly growing Americas Commercial Sales business, from Sales Leaders to Solutions Architects and everything in between. We are obsessed with delivering results for customers and supporting sales organizations to shape the direction of the business. We are a diverse, innovative team that loves translating data, insights, and anecdotes into action.
The AWS North American Business Operations team within SSOE leads execution & planning for the Americas Field organization. We seek a talented Business Operations & Planning Leader to manage the rhythm of the business, including Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics. The candidate must have a strategic mindset and the ability to balance short and long-term planning goals. This position requires a self-starter who has extensive cross-functional collaboration skills, superb verbal and written communication abilities and the willingness to be hands-on.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage and continually improve the operational cadence for business teams within the AWS North America Sales organization
• Develop tools and standard templates to scale operations
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and manage projects as needed
• Lead discussions for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Operating Plan (OP) meetings.
• Build, maintain and continually improve Business Management System for North America.
• Use high standards to develop streamlined team materials surrounding the state of the business.
• Closely collaborate with the Americas and SSOE leaders and executive support staff to establish dates for key business meetings and update operational cadence.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of senior leadership work in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development, or other related fields experience
- 7+ years of leading a divisional sales operations team or equivalent responsibilities supporting a mid-to-large-scale, multi-geographical, hi-tech, sales organization experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in senior leadership work in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development, or other related fields
- Experience hiring and leading a high-performance team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience in business-process design
- Experience rapidly growing an organization and attracting, hiring, and maintaining top talent
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
