Job description

Position Title: Advisor Development Consultant

Reports to: VP, Business Development

Department: Sales

Location: 1499 Gulf to Bay Blvd Suite 100, Clearwater Fl 33755

Classification: Full-time; Exempt

Summary / Job Objective: As an ADC, you will be responsible for acquiring new advisors, maintaining relationships with existing advisors, and moving advisors to the next level of production using our market-leading tools and a consultative sales process. We will help you gain the skills needed to succeed as well as provide a consistent flow of new recruiting opportunities to help you build your production.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Recruit agents/advisors and support a book of agents/advisors

· Provide product support, including comparative analysis, quotes, and illustrations

· Promote our market-leading marketing programs to your agents/advisors

· Coordinate with our service department to provide L&A, new business and support to your agents/advisors

· Promote product ideas to your agents/advisors

Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of experience in sales or other relevant job experience

· Basic understanding of financial markets and retirement trends

· Ability to use social media to increase sales effectiveness

· Ability to pass the insurance and/or securities examinations
