Job description

Sales Revenue Analyst
Our client is seeking a Sales Revenue Analyst to support sales performance, revenue reporting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making. This role will analyze data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support Sales and Marketing leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain sales and revenue reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and uncover business opportunities.
  • Support forecasting, pipeline analysis, territory performance, promotional analysis, and revenue planning.
  • Analyze customer, competitor, pricing, and market data to support business decisions.
  • Prepare reporting and analytical materials for sales meetings, planning activities, and commercial initiatives.
  • Develop presentations, sales reports, dashboards, and other materials for Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Support new product launches and commercialization initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other business teams to improve reporting and business processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms and systems.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, revenue analytics, business analytics, commercial operations, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced/expert Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
  • Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Experience working with large datasets and sales/business systems.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience in a consumer-focused, retail, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented analyst with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and commercial awareness. This individual should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to connect data and reporting to business outcomes, communicate insights to stakeholders at varying levels, and identify opportunities to improve sales performance, forecasting, and business processes.
Compensation: $38 to $40 an hour
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
