Position: Account Representative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and responsive attitude toward internal and external customer inquiries, stepping in when other sales staff are unavailable.
  • Partner with Account Representatives to process customer quotes accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the sales team by ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Confirm customer orders, ensuring alignment with quote pricing, delivery terms, and other requirements.
  • Generate sales and work orders based on confirmed customer purchase orders.
  • Manage customer change orders and cancellations.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate part data records.
  • Organize and file closed purchase orders from the previous year.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 2 Years office experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Teams.
  • ERP and CRM experience are a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Sage software is preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
