Automotive Sales Advisor: 

A rare position is now open at Zia Auto in our 37th year. The position is sales, with training support, serviced inventory, and lender support to close sales. The job is to teach the consumer the vehicle options, specs, build value, how it works, and the benefits. Some training will cover the basics of financing, credit applications, and the best way to get the consumer to the best financing terms and payments based on creditworthiness. We have all makes and models fully serviced, a service center to back it up, and over 30 lending partners. The position is full-time, with a 5-day workweek and occasional hours over 40. We offer employee benefits, paid vacation, health, vision, dental, and more. You must dress to impress and work your schedule. We are looking for a reliable team member. Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years of job history, with references.
  • Secondary education is not required (but could be a plus), though you would have a fair level of basic knowledge of cars and the ability to learn.
  • Good customer service skills and 3 years of prior experience are expected.
  • Capable of listening to customers' needs and learning to present them to the customer
  • A great attitude: A positive, supportive team player who follows the work schedule

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in customer service and sales
  • Perform general housekeeping around the business.
  • Driving all kinds of cars and light trucks, for customer rides or quality control purposes
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and generating sales
  • Assist with incoming or outgoing phone calls and emails as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Follow up with progress and/or follow-up calls and/or emails
  • Adhere, delivery, and follow-up processes
  • Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business, allowing for long-term clientele
  • You’ll be given the ability to resolve customer concerns and questions
