Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to administer customer pricing and serve as the day-to-day connection between our pricing tools and the sales organization. In this role, you’ll establish and maintain customer price records in Epicor Prophet 21 and partner closely with field sales and sales operations to keep pricing accurate, current, and well understood across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, load, and maintain customer price records in the ERP system
  • Establish and update geography-based and customer-type pricing structures
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all customer pricing records
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer pricing discrepancies and system issues
  • Explain how specific customer prices were arrived at — including the logic, hierarchy, and inputs behind the price — in plain language for sales-side audiences
  • Manage and maintain suggested pricing flowing from our third-party pricing application into the ERP
  • Review system-generated pricing suggestions, validate against business rules, and load approved updates
  • Ensure synchronization and accuracy between the third-party tool and the ERP
  • Partner with administrators of the pricing application to flag issues, request rule changes, and improve suggestion quality over time
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for field sales and sales operations on pricing questions, updates, and administrative requests
  • Partner with Regional Managers to load and maintain geography-specific and customer-type pricing
  • Work with Sales Support to load, update, and maintain customer-specific and contract pricing
  • Communicate pricing changes, system updates, and process changes clearly to reps and sales leaders
  • Train and support sales-side users on how to read pricing in P21 and interpret what they’re seeing
  • Run and distribute standard pricing reports (price overrides, low-margin transactions, price book coverage, etc.)
  • Investigate flagged pricing issues and provide clear, plain-English explanations of root cause
  • Support data analysts with pull requests, data validation, and pricing context as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in pricing administration, ERP system administration, or sales operations support
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, large dataset management)
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication — ability to explain technical pricing logic in plain language to a sales rep or regional manager
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred

  • Experience in distribution, construction supply, or building materials industry
  • Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP
  • Experience supporting field sales teams or working in a sales operations function
  • Familiarity with customer-specific pricing, contract pricing, and pricing hierarchies
  • Experience with third-party pricing or pricing optimization tools (e.g., Zilliant, PROS, Vendavo, SparxIQ)
  • Experience using AI assistants (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to automate tasks, streamline data processing, and perform data transformations — in line with company data-handling policies
  • Basic SQL or business intelligence tool exposure
