This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager, DACH based in Netherlands.

As an Account Manager, DACH, you will take strategic ownership of a portfolio of enterprise ecommerce customers across their full lifecycle.
You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, understand their business priorities, and connect those priorities to solutions that create measurable value.
The role combines account strategy, customer advocacy, commercial growth, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
You will manage complex enterprise conversations, from identifying risks and business needs to presenting value and negotiating renewals and upsells.
Working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and other specialist teams, you will ensure customers receive a coordinated and high-quality experience.
You will also bring customer insights back into the organization, helping shape product priorities, use cases, and advocacy opportunities.
This is an ownership-driven role in a fast-growing, highly technical environment focused on innovation, measurable outcomes, and long-term customer relationships.

Accountabilities
  • Act as the strategic lead for a portfolio of enterprise clients, taking ownership of their overall experience from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including senior and executive-level stakeholders, to understand their business goals, priorities, challenges, and success criteria.
  • Translate customer objectives into relevant product strategies, use cases, features, and integrations that deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead complex enterprise renewal and upsell cycles from beginning to end, clearly demonstrating product capabilities and business and economic value to stakeholders ranging from business champions to C-suite executives.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks across the customer portfolio, ensuring potential issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth by educating customers on relevant new capabilities, use cases, and integrations.
  • Lead and support effective Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring alignment between customer objectives, performance, and available solutions.
  • Maintain accurate internal account information and communicate customer health, needs, risks, renewal plans, and expansion opportunities across relevant teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver against customer goals and timelines.
  • Advocate for customers internally by sharing product feedback, use cases, business needs, and opportunities for customer advocacy and marketing engagement.
  • Balance multiple strategic accounts, projects, and recurring responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience working directly with large enterprise customers in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or a comparable SaaS role, ideally within ecommerce technology.
  • Fluent German language skills are required, with the ability to communicate confidently with DACH-region customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build deep, trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders, including VP-level and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Proven experience identifying, mitigating, and managing customer risks across a portfolio in a proactive and structured manner.
  • Strong track record of managing complex enterprise renewals and expansion opportunities from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed retention and expansion targets.
  • Strong commercial and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate product capabilities and clearly articulate business and economic value.
  • Experience identifying new customer use cases, features, integrations, and opportunities that can increase adoption and account value.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, KPIs, terminology, market trends, and common customer objectives.
  • Solid understanding of analytics and statistics, with the ability to analyze and present data related to ecommerce performance, A/B testing, conversion, and other relevant metrics.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to adapt communication and requests for different specialist teams while keeping timelines, service expectations, and customer objectives in focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts and competing priorities while maintaining excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop and maintain strong working knowledge of evolving SaaS products, technical capabilities, integrations, and use cases.
  • High degree of accountability, ownership, curiosity, empathy, and openness, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Strong customer advocacy skills and the ability to turn customer insights into actionable feedback for internal teams.
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to work with an innovative technology platform operating at significant global scale within the ecommerce industry.
  • Exposure to sophisticated enterprise customers and senior business stakeholders across the DACH market.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional environment spanning Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Solutions teams.
  • High degree of ownership and autonomy over a strategic portfolio of enterprise accounts.
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to customer retention, expansion, product feedback, and broader business growth.
  • Environment focused on empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI, search, personalization, recommendations, and ecommerce technology.
