The role is responsible for driving revenue growth by combining technical expertise with strong sales capabilities. This role identifies potential customers, builds relationships, determines customer needs, recommends appropriate technical solutions, manages the full sales cycle, and ensures customer satisfaction. Responsibilities.

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and pricing structures.
  • Support marketing activities and implementation of the annual marketing plan.

2. Technical Expertise & Application

  • Understand product specifications, engineering solutions, and technical configurations across the core business and new technology offerings
  • Translate customer requirements into feasible technical solutions.
  • Work with proposals/engineering/operations teams to ensure accurate solution design and delivery.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and strategic clients.
  • Resolve issues quickly by coordinating with technical support and operations.
  • Conduct regular site visits, performance evaluations, and customer feedback sessions.

4. Sales Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM updates.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, revenue analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contractual terms.

Technical Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and high-value project sales.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of project management principles and strong IT proficiency, including spreadsheet analysis.
  • Numerically minded with strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Full driver's licence and valid passport, with willingness to travel for customer and site visits.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
