Summary: 

Launch your career in Sales Operations with a hands-on internship where you'll support the sales team, maintain critical customer data, and help drive operational excellence in a fast-paced hospitality organization. 

American Food & Vending is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Enablement Intern to join our Sales team. Working directly with the Director of Sales, you will gain practical experience supporting CRM management, contract administration, sales reporting, and data quality initiatives that help keep our sales organization running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or emerging business professional interested in sales operations, business administration, or customer relationship management. This internship is on-site at our corporate headquarters in Liverpool, NY (13088). 


Responsibilities: 

  • Enter and update customer contract information within the CRM. 
  • Maintain account, contact, and opportunity records to ensure accurate sales data. 
  • Perform routine data quality audits and verify required CRM fields for completeness and accuracy. 
  • Upload and organize contracts and supporting sales documentation. 
  • Assist with generating and maintaining sales reports. 
  • Track upcoming contract renewals and renewal timelines. 
  • Monitor pending contract signatures and communicate status updates. 
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies, missing information, or process exceptions to the Director of Sales. 
  • Learn and utilize CRM tools and other technology to support daily sales operations. 
  • May be assigned other sales operations or administrative responsibilities as needed. 


Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is a plus. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
