Who are we hiring (and what will they do)?

We are looking for an Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role is a strong fit for an Associate SDR with up to two years of SDR or sales experience, or recent college graduates with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field.

As a successful Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will:

  • Drive pipeline growth by generating and qualifying leads through a mix of inbound follow-up and targeted outbound outreach, helping create a steady flow of high-quality prospects for the sales team.
  • Engage prospects early in their decision-making process to understand business needs, identify pain points, assess fit, and determine whether they should advance through the sales process.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Enterprise, and Partnerships to support territory strategy, accelerate sales cycles, and ensure timely, well-positioned handoffs.
  • Become a student of the CTM platform and ecosystem by participating in training, staying current on product updates, and learning how market trends impact client use cases.
  • Build expertise in CTM’s key verticals and understand how different industries use our platform to solve business challenges and create value.
  • Research target accounts, contacts, and emerging verticals to identify trends, potential use cases, and strategic opportunities that support go-to-market efforts.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for many prospects and help create a positive, professional customer experience from the start.
  • Work with Marketing to share customer feedback, campaign insights, and market trends that can improve targeting, messaging, and lead generation.
  • Partner with experienced Account Executives to help build pipeline while developing your sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the buyer journey.
  • Use Salesforce, Google Sheets, and other sales tools to support prospecting, lead management, reporting, and pipeline visibility.
  • Demonstrate CTM’s values and build relationships through multiple sales touchpoints, including email, phone, video meetings, networking events, and thoughtful follow-up.

What skills will help you be effective on our team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Professional, Sales, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience or recent college graduates with relevant coursework, internships, campus leadership, or sales/marketing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Self-starter with a curious, coachable, and collaborative mindset who can thrive in a fast-moving sales environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage daily outreach, research, and follow-up activities.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, learn quickly, and maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus, but not required for recent graduates who are eager to learn.
  • Proficient in Google Suite; experience with tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting platforms is a plus.

  • The expected salary range for this role may differ based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
