Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the COO, GM, and Sales Reps to develop and manage strategic Roofing target accounts aligned with regional goals.
  • Guide sales growth strategies and ensure efficient sales coverage for both Outside and Inside Sales teams.
  • Provide insight into vendor negotiations, customer rebate programs, and new product line evaluations across branch portfolios.
  • Set and exceed annual sales and profit goals with clear action plans and performance tracking.
  • Train and develop Roofing sales personnel, focusing on continual growth through structured programs and tools.
  • Leverage and promote CRM and customer portals to drive revenue—train Account Managers in effective use.
  • Conduct regular sales team meetings to share market, customer, and competitive insights.
  • Align with all departments to ensure consistent product stocking and representation across regional markets.
  • Deliver regular performance updates to the COO and GM.
  • Assist in planning and attending customer events, industry trade shows, and conventions.
  • Provide operational support to other branches as needed.
