Based on the responsibilities and requirements outlined in Belt Power's field operations, field service, and sales development roles, this position blends customer-facing sales with hands-on installation and service support.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Development Associate, you'll serve as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on problem solver. You'll develop business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and support conveyor belt installations and service projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform or assist with conveyor belt fabrication, installation, splicing, vulcanizing, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate customer needs, project schedules, and equipment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate customer notes, service reports, and sales activity records.
  • Identify additional service and product opportunities through on-site customer interactions.
  • Represent Belt Power professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment, maintenance, or installation work.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations and work in industrial environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outside sales, industrial sales, maintenance, field service, fabrication, or conveyor belting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, processing, or material handling operations.
  • OSHA, Forklift, Mechanical, Welding, or related certifications.
  • Previous experience working directly with customers in technical or industrial environments.

What You'll Gain
