Business Development Coordinator (Internet Sales)  may be required to: 
  • Develop a file of Internet customers/prospects and communicate vehicle opportunities on a regular basis.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of dealership services and products.
  • Compile a list of product information resources and recommend to guests as needed.
  • Ask prospective guests about their needs, and use their responses to help guide them in their vehicle purchasing decisions.
  • Learn the benefits of the latest auto accessories, features and products. 
  • Work with sales manager to create reasonable performance goals with monthly income targets, and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Reply promptly to emails and route to other departments as appropriate.
  • Field Internet sales questions.
  • Create Internet sales promotions in line with other advertising and promotions.
  • Receive recommended product and sales training.
  • Ensure website is updated frequently using photographs of current inventory.
  • Attend sales meetings.
Requirements
The applicant applying for this position should possess:
  • Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic
  • Previous customer service experience and/or sales experience is preferred but not a must
  • Professional attire and appearance
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Basic data entry computer skills
  • Ability to work weekends and some nights
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both writing and oral communications.
