Description

Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract food service company, is looking to hire a Salad Bar Prep Cook Attendant for our Schaeffler location in Wooster, OH.

  • The pay rate is $15.00- $16.00 per hour.
  • The schedule is Monday - Friday.
  • The shift hours are 6:00am - 2:00pm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble yogurt bar, salad bar. Rotate and stock grab and go cooler.
  • Operate equipment such as slicers, buffalo choppers, and ovens safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized salad station, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines; both in the FOH and the BOH preparation area.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their needs accurately.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service and food quality.
  • Replenishing food items as required during service, breakdown service areas after the meal period and assisting with general kitchen duties as needed, including caterings, cleaning and dishwashing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a deli, cafeteria, or food service setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.


Other Duties and Tasks

  • All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Managers or Supervisors, as a part of any "Job" or "Position" assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
