What is the difference between Safety Manager vs Safety Coordinator?
| Aspect | Safety Manager | Safety Coordinator |
|---|---|---|
| Certifications | OSHA 30-hour, CSP, ASP | OSHA 10/30-hour, CSP (optional) |
| Work Environment | Oversees safety programs, manages teams, strategic planning | Assists in safety training, conducts inspections, supports safety initiatives |

They create manuals, report incidents, and document changes. They also perform inspections on equipment and observe the workplace to ensure all rules are followed.
